QUALITY OF CARE AND COMPASSION
To ensure your pets safety, your veterinarian may complete blood work, an electrocardiogram, X-rays or other diagnostic tests,
prior to the MRI scan.
Animal MRIs are performed under anesthesia. During the procedure your pet will be closely monitored by
our experienced veterinary staff. Your pet’s heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen concentration and other parameters will
be closely monitored. Your pet will also be given intravenous fluids during the procedure.
